Almond Crusted Chicken Tenders


  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cup sprouted almonds
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 to 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt


  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Take three bowls and add a whisked egg or 2 into one bowl, flour to the next, and slightly ground almonds to another (pulse in blender 3-5 times, do not turn into flour)
  • Add seasoning into your crushed almonds, mix around
  • Completely cover the bottom of your fry pan with oil
  • Dip one chicken tender in flour, then your egg wash, then crushed almonds
  • Continue this process until you no longer have chicken left
  • Add chicken tenders to your fry pan and cook on medium until both sides are golden brown
  • Once you fried both sides of your chickens, oil a casserole dish or tray and place all your chicken tenders in it
  • Bake for 5 minutes, take out and flip each tender, bake for another 5 minutes
